This past weekend was the 2013 Spektrum Challenge at Trackside Hobbies & Raceway in Milwaukee, WI. This event has grown allot over the years by attracting some of the best Pro Drivers in the country as well as having a huge local following. Kyosho would be showing up to this event with: Kyosho America's Team Manager Joe Pillars, along with Up and Coming Talents: Andy DiBrino, Luke Richards, and Taylor Timmerman. This years event brought in an outstanding 361 total entries!
Wednesday, November 13th: Open Practice
Thursday, November 14th: Open Practice
Friday, November 15th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Saturday, November 16th: 2 Rounds of Qualifying
Sunday, November 17th: Main Events Day
The Modified Truck class had an impressive 51 entries! This would be DiBrino and Pillars first race with the all new Kyosho RT6! Andy would qualify 2nd overall behind AE's Ryan Cavalieri. JP would tie Andy on points for the 2nd spot, but lost the tie breaker on combined times to qualified 3rd.
Cavalieri went onto take the overall Win in the Modified Truck Class, but the real battle was for the 2nd and 3rd position on the podium. DiBrino went onto finish 2nd in both A-Main #1 & A-Main #2. Pillars would finish 3rd in both A-Main #1 & A-Main #2.
Pillars then went onto finish 2nd in A-Main #3, which would lock up the 3rd spot on the podium. DiBrino would use his first 2 A-Main scores for 2nd overall.

Kyosho would like to sent out a big congrats to Andy DiBrino for also making the highly contested 2wd Modified Buggy A-Main! Andy qualified 10th on the grid and went onto finish 9th overall after the triple A-Main Events.
Team Manager Joe Pillars would tie for BQ in 2wd Modified with 16pts, 2pts away from making the final! With 87 2wd entries, not too bad for our team manager!
Kyosho would also like to send out a big congrats to Luke Richards for finishing 4th overall in the 2wd Modified Short Course class!
