2009 ROAR Off-Road Electric Nats Race Report
Jun 30, 2009

Kyosho Has a Great Showing at 2009 ROAR Off-Road Electric Nats!
The 2009 ROAR Off-Road Electric Nationals were held at the Hobby Plex in Omaha, Nebraska. The facility was top notch with a fully loaded hobby shop upstairs and then a huge indoor air conditioned pit area below. The track was located just outside the pit area. With temperatures in the 90’s all week long, the indoor pits were really nice.
Since the track at this year’s Nationals was very big, ROAR decided to allow the top 12 drivers into the A-Main instead of usual the top 10.
Throughout practice and qualifying the track and weather changed constantly. With scattered showers and very humid/hot weather, the drivers were having to change their set-ups and tires choices.
Jared Tebo went on to TQ the first 2 rounds of qualifying with his Kyosho RB5-SP. After qualifying was complete, Tebo would line up 2nd on the grid.
Tebo would go on to finish 2nd overall with a 2nd Place finish in A-Main #1 and a 1st Place finish in A-Main #2. If not for a very aggressive pass in A-Main #1 on the last lap, Tebo would have been looking very good for the overall win.
